Day 311-317

Another busy week for us! This past weekend was the final trial for the season - our state finals. I only qualified Rob, hence only had two runs. My first one was mediocre and placed sixth. But on Saturday I had probably had the best run I’ve had with Rob all fall and placed third. I was so excited! Plus I got a cherry on top - youngest daughter (took some photos for me) son and grandson came and watched me run!

We also got to spend time with the family and I did capture one photo of Gramps and the boys!

Now it’s back to the ranch and normal activities!

Chickens and cats waiting for their evening feeding!

The puppies are growing! They’re getting cute and developing personalities!

And there is a new kid in the pens! Meet Clem the new milk cow calf!

Hope this finds each of you doing well! I’m hoping to get back in the groove of posting every day and reading and commenting on your blogs! I want you to know that each of you inspire me to see my world through your eyes!

Blessings and hugs!

Day 296 - 310

Wow!! Where has the time gone!! Two weeks have flown by for me! The past two weekends were 3 day sheep dog trials, so  I know that some of that time was away from home nd some of that time was prepping to be gone!!

Here’s a few photos from my life!!

The sunrises are fantastic!

We’ve needed a fire a day or two!

Day 288

I thought I had posted this last week, but since I didn't take a photo for this day, I'm posting this one of  Gracen and Charlea! They bring us much joy and they always love to play together!

Day 287

Mike and I visited a small old cemetery today. We were looking for a particular headstone, but we love reading each one and "imagining" the story of families! Lots of infants in this one! Many in the early 1900's around the time when my two of my grandmother's siblings died within a few days of each other from Scarlet Fever. We always look for the earliest birthdate, and this time was in 1814. Here are some of those we saw today.

Day 286

As you know I love tea cups and saucers! (Well I actually love pretty dishes!! LOL)
I recently received the newest tea cup in the exchange in which I participate. An addition to my blue and white ones! And with such pretty roses too!

Day 285

I never tire of the sunrise! A good start to the day!
